classic car insurance is cheap because of limited mileage and NO build up of No-Claims bonus. It is designed for people with a normal car and a classic as well. You will need to get a regular policy on a really small car.

For my sister she got the cheapest on direct line…..and she looked everywhere….get a small sized engine and you can get an affordable cost….(well not really affordable, but good price for what some people ask for)
Hope this helps.
Much love x
IF YOU GET A CLASSIC VEHICLE THE INSURANCE WILL BE VERY CHEAP BUT YOU CANNOT USE THE VEHICLE AS A DAILY DRIVER, YOU CAN ONLY USE IT TO DRIVE TO SHOWS AND SO FORTH.
AS FOR THE CHEAPEST INSURANCE AT YOUR AGE, IT JUST WONT HAPPEN BUT YOU CAN CHECK WITH THE BOARD OF INSURANCE WHICH IS ON LINE AND SEE IF THEY CAN HELP YOU.
I tried this many moons ago, thinking I could buy a fast, old motorbike thinking I could get cheap insurance. Unfortunately they take your age into account and you still pay loads.
Get your license first then its a Ford Fiesta for a few years I’m afraid!
If you are in the UK go to parkers.co.uk, check the used car guide and it should list types of cars and insurance groups, go for a car in the lowest insurance group, also buy mags like max power (if its still going) and phone lots of the insurance companies in the back as they usually specialise in younger drivers. Other than that, some new car dealers do it so you get your first year insurance free so if you can afford to buy a new car then maybe this is something for you to look into, they should offer decent finance deals as well.
OH MAN, SHOP AROUND ONLINE, IF THAT DOSENT WORK HIT THE YELLOW PAGES AND MAKE PHONE CALLS. BETTER APPLY FOR HIGH DEDUCTIBLES
To begin with, you can’t even get auto insurance until you are licensed, and what will be cheapest for you when you are is to be added to a parents policy as a secondary, or even primary driver if you have a car for your use.
As to the classic car insurance, yes, it’s fairly cheap as a secondary policy on your primary insurance to insure the car you will only be driving to take to car shows and the like. Nice thought, but it won’t work to insure the one you are constantly driving.
Unfortunately, at 17 and newly licensed, there will be no “cheap” insurance.
At 17 you don’t get cheap car insurance. You’re in the age group that is most likely to go out ragging their car, not wear a set belt and maybe even drink drive. Your age group is one of the biggest risk groups for insurance companies, so you will struggle.
keep a 3 point GPA, take drivers ed, some insurance co offer little discounts from training packets they offer to their insureds, slow down and dont get a ticket and stay off your cell phone when you drive! prevents accidents.
If u buy a car on a provisional, get somebody else who has been driving for many years on ur insurance and u can take some of there no claims bonus’s which is what i did, im 18 and my insurance is £420 a year and i drive an old corsa
